Mrs. Preeti Anand's association with education for travel professionals spans over two decades. She was born in a family of travel professionals and having completed her Graduation, she did a double Masters in Commerce and Business Administration studying Commerce and Tourism at a tertiary level. Her professional education involved attending training programs offered by different national and international flagship carriers, in addition to an IATA Diploma in both basic and advanced levels meritoriously. To her credit, she also has attended the coveted Train the Trainer Programme sponsored by the Government of India where only a selected few are chosen every year.

A core educationist and thorough professional, Preeti is an authority on Education in Travel and Tourism. In fulfillment of her desire to help create and educate budding professionals in Travel & Tourism, she joined SITA Travel & Tourism Academy in the year 1992. The Academy under her guidance trained more than 5000 students, who are now gainfully employed in the various segments of the industry. Though the Academy started with a limited curriculum of only Domestic and International Ticketing, Preeti's vision and knowledge base resulted in the Academy offering over 10 courses to the young and budding travel professionals.

During her two decade association with the Travel & Tourism Industry, she has not only contributed to the field of education but also taken up assignments at various Travel educational institutions like YWCA and South Delhi Polytechnic. She was also the Course Coordinator and a Senior Faculty Member of India Tourism Development Corporation. During her tenure with SITA Academy, she was also responsible for successfully conducting training programs for leading Domestic airlines; Indian Airlines, Air Sahara & Jet Airways and State Tourism Departments/Boards; AP Tourism, JK Tourism .... to name a few.

With her experience and expertise in managing a Travel Academy for more than a decade, she has now set-up the state-of-the-art Travel Academy. The academy will endeavour to constantly contribute to the betterment of the industry by doing constant upgradations in the offered courses , thus creating a comprehensive courses curriculum for aspiring travel professionals.
